1. Jack’s Point Track
Just minutes from Homestead Bay, this well-loved trail stretches along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and offers jaw-dropping views of The Remarkables. The full walk is about 12km return, but you can easily do shorter sections. It’s perfect for weekend strolls, dog walks, or a longer jog with a view.
2. Kelvin Peninsula Trail
A slightly longer drive, but well worth the effort. This lakeside track winds around the edge of the Kelvin Heights peninsula, with panoramic vistas and peaceful picnic spots. The trail is flat, well-maintained, and ideal for all fitness levels.
